Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Caitau's Kléberson de Amaral started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Fred de Andrade made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kléberson de Amaral in the 3rd minute of play. In the 4th minute, Kaká Gerber hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agnaldo Barbosa in the 5th minute of play forced Berigui SS's goalkeeper Fred de Andrade to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 8 minutes into the game, one of Caitau:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Caitau's Délio Mandrak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Afonso Senna in the 13th minute of play. Felipe Bueno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Délio Mandrak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felipe Bueno in the 28th minute of play. When Afonso Senna came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Berigui SS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Afonso Senna couldn't finish the play. Fred de Andrade made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Ulysses Mendonça sent off a good shot on target. Délio Mandrak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felipe Bueno in the 45th minute of play. After the first half Berigui SS were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After 53 played minutes Berigui SS got a freekick which was hit by Cássio Aguiar. Agnaldo Barbosa was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 54th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Ulysses Mendonça scored 1-1 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fred de Andrade, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 62nd minute Ulysses Mendonça shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fred de Andrade saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Berigui SS's Cássio Aguiar got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Afonso Senna took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Délio Mandrak. Délio Mandrak dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Ulysses Mendonça sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Berigui SS's zone, Elano de Barros stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fred de Andrade came out of the goal and Elano de Barros tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 90 minutes, Luiz Gustavo Zanette mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Berigui SS and the Caitau players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 90th minute, Luiz Gustavo Zanette hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
