The audience was convinced that Cristiano Santana's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bebeto Rocha was relentless in the 5th minute of the game. Patrick Nóbrega showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zé Carlos Alcântara, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 8th minute of the game. One of Winterfell FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Saldanha:s goal. The goalkeeper, Bebeto Rocha, was totally fooled by Saldanha's Yan de Queiroz, who 10 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After 13 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Winterfell FC! Yan de Queiroz walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Zé Carlos Alcântara struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Patrick Nóbrega didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Winterfell FC. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Agnaldo Capixaba managed to get in a good position for a shot. Winterfell FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Agnaldo Capixaba was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Patrick Nóbrega breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Zé Carlos Alcântara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Patrick Nóbrega tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Saldanha's Thiago Netto got a free kick in the 26th minute. Zé Carlos Alcântara blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Patrick Nóbrega having to make a save. A collision led to Saldanha getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Thiago Netto hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Saldanha's Thiago Netto got a free kick in the 37th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Filipe Dias managed to get in a good position for a shot. Saldanha's supporters rose to their feet, but Filipe Dias was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bebeto Rocha breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Winterfell FC's Ademir Fontes got a free kick in the 43rd minute. 47 minutes into the match, Saldanha's goal looked a bit too open when Agnaldo Capixaba came free, but Patrick Nóbrega reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cristiano Santana stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jano Bastos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patrick Nóbrega having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ademar Paraíba during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 57th match minute, Winterfell FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ademar Paraíba to maneuver through the defense. 62 minutes into the game, Filipe Dias cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Bebeto Rocha was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bebeto Rocha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filipe Dias in the 68th minute of the match. Filipe Dias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Bebeto Rocha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristiano Santana in the 73rd minute of play forced Winterfell FC's goalkeeper Bebeto Rocha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 75th minute, Marcus Varela hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Yan de Queiroz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Saldanha's supporters rose to their feet, but Yan de Queiroz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bebeto Rocha breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bebeto Rocha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristiano Santana in the 85th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Cristiano Santana managed to get in a good position for a shot. Saldanha's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristiano Santana was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bebeto Rocha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filipe Dias, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Ademir Fontes hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Saldanha fans cheered their team off the field, for while Winterfell FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
