Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) DeuNois FC's Dênis Freitas started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A throw-in in the 5th minute of the game was made by Cássio Trancoso with Gil Koehler as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. A collision led to DeuNois FC getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Frank Andrade hit a great ball. After 14 played minutes Alexandre got a freekick which was hit by Elano Amorim. Alexandre's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Márcio Tavares 19 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. In the 26th minute of the match Erasmo Donato shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Abel Teles showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Alexandre's goalkeeper Sílvio Luís de Lara, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Dênis Freitas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpected shot in the 47th minute by Dênis Freitas got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Evaristo Gomes made a kick off. If Dênis Freitas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Sílvio Luís de Lara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dênis Freitas, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. If Dênis Freitas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evaristo Gomes in the 76th minute of play forced DeuNois FC's goalkeeper Abel Teles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wellington Saldanha during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 78th minute of the match Erasmo Donato sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Abel Teles skillfully saved the ball. In the 84th play minute Percival Coelho came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Abel Teles. 1-1. If Wellington Saldanha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Márcio Tavares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Sílvio Luís de Lara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 90th minute, Márcio Tavares ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sílvio Luís de Lara was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. 95 minutes into the game, Percival Coelho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Abel Teles was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Despite being the better team, DeuNois FC failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
