Cléberson Messias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tadeu Paiva having to interfere. Cléberson Messias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wanderson Mineiro might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Danilo Dantas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wanderson Mineiro ran back to his position shaking his head. If André de Carvalho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 20th minute, Orlando Paraíba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gilvan Pimenta, 21 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Renan Mello struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Tadeu Paiva didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bocuituba SC. Tadeu Paiva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Renan Mello, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Serrinha's goalkeeper Tadeu Paiva, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Bocuituba SC's Cléberson Messias got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tadeu Paiva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Renan Mello in the 37th minute of the match. Tadeu Paiva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Renan Mello, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Wanderson Mineiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wanderson Mineiro in the 43rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Danilo Dantas, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Renan Mello sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Cléberson Messias made the kick off in the second half. Orlando Paraíba kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. 57 minutes into the match, Serrinha's goalkeeper Tadeu Paiva had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Renan Mello. In the 59th minute, Serrinha's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Renan Mello fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. André de Carvalho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 68 minutes, Inácio Peixoto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Serrinha and the Bocuituba SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Serrinha's Inácio Peixoto got a free kick in the 68th minute. Cléberson Messias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Tadeu Paiva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Renan Mello who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 71stth minute tested the skills of Tadeu Paiva when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Renan Batista charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Renan Batista the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 74 played minutes Bocuituba SC got a freekick which was hit by Renan Batista. When Inácio Peixoto was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 76 minutes had been played. In the 78th minute, Luiz Guilherme Motta sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Serrinha's Tadeu Paiva didn't even have to move. Renan Mello sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Serrinha booed when Bocuituba SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luiz Guilherme Motta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Danilo Dantas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wanderson Mineiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 96th minute, Jonathan Chaves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the final whistle sounded Bocuituba SC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Serrinha.
