Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. César Passos started the match with the kick off. In the 6th minute, Benjamim Galvão ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Túlio Guimarães was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tubarões CFI's goalkeeper Belmiro de Amorim, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by César Passos in the 11th minute of play forced Tubarões CFI's goalkeeper Belmiro de Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mauro Bordin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Belmiro de Amorim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Belmiro de Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mauro Bordin in the 16th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, César Passos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Salinas FC's supporters rose to their feet, but César Passos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Belmiro de Amorim breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tubarões CFI's Belmiro de Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by César Passos in the 20th minute of play. In the 22nd minute of the match Mauro Bordin shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Belmiro de Amorim showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Tubarões CFI's Rogério Fernandez got a free kick in the 23rd minute. César Passos charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed César Passos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 46 played minutes Salinas FC got a freekick which was hit by César Passos. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When Salinas FC's César Passos in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Raphael Vinhas's late challenge caught a Tubarões CFI's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Raphael Vinhas helped the player get up and apologised. Raphael Vinhas kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Cesinha Paes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. César Passos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Belmiro de Amorim having to interfere. After 77 played minutes Salinas FC got a freekick which was hit by Dagoberto Sena. Mauro Bordin charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mauro Bordin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Salinas FC getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Mauro Bordin hit a great ball. If Rogério Fernandez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dagoberto Sena was shown his second yellow card after 93 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Tubarões CFI booed when Salinas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dagoberto Sena didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tubarões CFI's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
