After having played for 3 minutes, Juarês Correia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Parauara FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Juarês Correia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Parauara FC's Juarês Correia in the 5th minute got a chance for a shot 5th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Simonsen's goalie prevented a goal. Juarês Correia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Simonsen's Marcos Prata played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Paulo Teles in the 20th minute of play. Jean Sampaio kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Parauara FC's Juarês Correia managed to work through Simonsen's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Juarês Correia dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. In the 26th minute, Luiz Paulo Teles made a precise shot to the right of Marcos Prata. Simonsen's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. In the 28th minute, Juarês Correia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 30 minutes into the match, Simonsen's goal looked a bit too open when Juarês Correia came free, but Marcos Prata reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Simonsen defense, Juarês Correia kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcos Prata. The Simonsen fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcos Prata should have stopped the shot. In the 34th minute Luiz Paulo Teles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Prata saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 36th minute, Júlio Abraão got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Léo Fernandes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Júlio Abraão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 43 minutes into the match, Simonsen's Júlio Abraão sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Léo Fernandes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Léo Fernandes made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Wiliam Sena sent off a good shot on target.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luiz Paulo Teles was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Durvalino Damião hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcos Prata took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Paulo Teles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Juarês Correia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Parauara FC getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Luiz Paulo Teles hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Júlio Abraão managed to get in a good position for a shot. Simonsen's supporters rose to their feet, but Júlio Abraão was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Léo Fernandes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Wiliam Sena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Léo Fernandes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Júlio Abraão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Simonsen supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Parauara FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Parauara FC.
