Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dé Paranaense was the one to do the kick off. Douglas Prata could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Daniel do Valle made a huge save. Wellington de Brito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sílvio Guedes in the 60th minute of play. A collision led to Crioulas EC getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Carlos Fernando Lago hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Dorival Albuquerque's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Wellington de Brito was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. After having played for 67 minutes, Douglas Prata managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Crioulas EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Douglas Prata was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dé Paranaense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel do Valle having to interfere. Cajuapara FC's Daniel do Valle proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Cajuapara FC from getting a goal against them. In the 80th minute Vicente Negri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wellington de Brito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vicente Negri in the 82nd minute of play forced Crioulas EC's goalkeeper Wellington de Brito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dé Paranaense's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Daniel do Valle read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. Dorival Albuquerque fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wellington de Brito having to interfere. 95 minutes into the match, Cajuapara FC's Fausto Luz broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 99 minutes into the match, Crioulas EC's goal looked a bit too open when Vicente Negri came free, but Wellington de Brito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Crioulas EC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
