Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Emílio Marinho started the match with the kick off. 5 minutes into the game, Catalunya FC's Mateus Arruda nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Afonsinho Massa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Manissobal SS's Afonsinho Massa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mateus Arruda in the 9th minute of play. In the 11th minute, Mateus Arruda made a precise shot to the right of Afonsinho Massa. Manissobal SS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. After having played for 13 minutes, Téo Maciel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Catalunya FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Téo Maciel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Adelino Montenegro fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Manissobal SS's protests and gave Adelino Montenegro a yellow card for diving instead. After 14 played minutes Manissobal SS got a freekick which was hit by Adelino Montenegro. With 18 minutes on the clock, Chiquinho Ferreira commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Catalunya FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 17th minute. Penalty! Afonsinho Massa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mateus Arruda in the 24th minute of play. Manissobal SS's Adelino Montenegro got his second yellow card of the match in the 25th minute. The referee ordered Adelino Montenegro off the ground. In the 26th minute, Adelino Montenegro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Manissobal SS's zone, Mateus Arruda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Afonsinho Massa came out of the goal and Mateus Arruda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Téo Maciel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mateus Arruda in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Afonsinho Massa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 34th minute, Téo Maciel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 41 played minutes Manissobal SS got a freekick which was hit by Erasmo Damião. When Mateus Arruda came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Catalunya FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mateus Arruda couldn't finish the play. Afonsinho Massa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mateus Arruda went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mateus Arruda made a kick off. Manissobal SS's Pedro Luís Fonseca got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With his leg Afonsinho Massa managed to avoid a goal in the 59thth minute, when Catalunya FC's Mateus Arruda fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A hard shot 61 in the game by Mateus Arruda from a close distance when the talented Afonsinho Massa managed to make a qualified save. Manissobal SS's players were relieved. Mateus Arruda who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 61stth minute tested the skills of Afonsinho Massa when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Afonsinho Massa made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Mateus Arruda sent off a good shot on target. Mateus Arruda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mateus Arruda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Afonsinho Massa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Antônio de Mendonça fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Afonsinho Massa having to interfere. In the 78th minute, Téo Maciel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Afonsinho Massa was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-5. 87 minutes into the match, Manissobal SS's goalkeeper Afonsinho Massa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mateus Arruda. 88 minutes into the match, Manissobal SS's goal looked a bit too open when Mateus Arruda came free, but Afonsinho Massa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mateus Arruda could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Afonsinho Massa made a huge save. After 96 minutes, Mateus Arruda made it 1-6 with a short kick to the right side. Manissobal SS's Afonsinho Massa tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The Manissobal SS fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Catalunya FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
