After 13 played minutes Tapera AD got a freekick which was hit by Rony Gaspar. If Dráuzio Travassos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 20th minute, Róbson Marinho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gremio Luziápolis fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tapera AD's goalkeeper Luiz Capixaba, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Custódio Brodel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Custódio Brodel took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luiz Capixaba. Luiz Capixaba dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Luiz Capixaba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Custódio Brodel in the 40th minute of the match. Ronaldo Baiano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Josué Zanette, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 45th match minute, Gremio Luziápolis was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dráuzio Travassos to maneuver through the defense. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

Ronaldo Baiano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Josué Zanette, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Luiz Capixaba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giuseppe Valle, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. In the 81st match minute, Tapera AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mário Bueno to maneuver through the defense. In the 87th minute, Rony Gaspar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luiz Capixaba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Custódio Brodel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 94 minutes into the match, Custódio Brodel notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Tapera AD's Luiz Capixaba. Luiz Capixaba was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Tapera AD fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Gremio Luziápolis were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
