Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Hermínio Catarinense got the match started through his kick off. Jerônimo Catarinense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafael Dantas in the 4th minute of the match. In the 4th match minute, Cunhupuca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juninho Botelho to maneuver through the defense. In the 8th minute, João Francisco Nascimento fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 11th minute, Hermínio Catarinense ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jerônimo Catarinense was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Cunhupuca's João Francisco Nascimento slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ademir Arantes. That made the score 1-1 after 16 minutes of play. Cunhupuca's Jerônimo Catarinense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafael Dantas in the 19th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Francisco Nascimento in the 24th minute of play forced Trombuca EC's goalkeeper Ademir Arantes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 27 minutes into the match, Trombuca EC's goal looked a bit too open when João Francisco Nascimento came free, but Ademir Arantes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 33rd minute João Francisco Nascimento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ademir Arantes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Trombuca EC defense, Caetano Lopes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ademir Arantes. The Trombuca EC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ademir Arantes should have stopped the shot. Jerônimo Catarinense came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Trombuca EC's Rafael Dantas. But to his dismay, Rafael Dantas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Rafael Dantas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Jerônimo Catarinense tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 2-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell João Francisco Nascimento to make the kick off. Digo Seco kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. If João Francisco Nascimento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 58th match minute, Trombuca EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hermínio Tinoco to maneuver through the defense. Ademir Arantes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Caetano Lopes, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, João Francisco Nascimento managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cunhupuca's supporters rose to their feet, but João Francisco Nascimento was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ademir Arantes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 65th minute Caetano Lopes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ademir Arantes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. João Francisco Nascimento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Ademir Arantes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ademir Arantes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Francisco Nascimento in the 70th minute of play. João Francisco Nascimento recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 75 minutes in the game, Hermínio Catarinense dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. 80 minutes into the match, Cunhupuca's goalkeeper Jerônimo Catarinense had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rafael Dantas. João Francisco Nascimento took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ademir Arantes. Ademir Arantes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-3. Hermínio Catarinense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rafael Dantas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Cunhupuca's Jerônimo Catarinense got control of the ball when Rafael Dantas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ademir Arantes came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Cunhupuca's Caetano Lopes. But to his dismay, Caetano Lopes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-3. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Cunhupuca had won after a very even match.
