Campo SC's Laércio Faria played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eugênio Baptista in the 11th minute of play. Laércio Faria showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonathan Andrade in the 13th minute of the match. If Jonathan Andrade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonathan Andrade in the 21st minute of play forced Campo SC's goalkeeper Laércio Faria to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 22 played minutes Campo SC got a freekick which was hit by Hortêncio Andrade. The audience was convinced that Benedito Brodel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Remo Moreira was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. If Jonathan Andrade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jonathan Andrade was the one to do the kick off. Remo Moreira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hortêncio Andrade in the 52nd minute of the match. Laércio Faria made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eugênio Baptista in the 53rd minute. In the 56th minute Benedito Brodel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Remo Moreira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rubens Porto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Allianca were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Campo SC's much stronger midfield.
