Nando Teixeira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Augusto Gaspar having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Fabiano de Sena in the 13th minute of play forced Itamembe AD's goalkeeper William Guerra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. João Augusto Gaspar didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Itamembe AD's César Santos shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-0 in the ordered_time% minute. João Augusto Gaspar made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when César Santos sent off a good shot on target. Nando Teixeira struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. César Santos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

A collision led to Aiapua FC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Franklin Marinho hit a great ball. In the 60th minute, Nando Teixeira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. João Augusto Gaspar was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Matheus Mattos hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. William Guerra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Pedro Paraibano in the 65th minute of play. Aiapua FC's Luís Fabiano de Sena got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zé Pedro Freire during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Itamembe AD's Zé Pedro Freire got a free kick in the 67th minute. José Pedro Paraibano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. William Guerra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Aiapua FC's zone, Nando Teixeira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. João Augusto Gaspar came out of the goal and Nando Teixeira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 88th minute, José Pedro Paraibano reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of William Guerra. The goal made the score 3-2. José Pedro Paraibano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. William Guerra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Itamembe AD's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
