When Diego Santana came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Petrolândia Eporte Clube fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Diego Santana couldn't finish the play. Bruno Peixoto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cristian Camargo made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Robinho Tróia sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bruno Peixoto in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gerson de Toledo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cauã Souza might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cristian Camargo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cauã Souza ran back to his position shaking his head. Marco Proença's late challenge caught a Petrolândia Eporte Clube's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marco Proença helped the player get up and apologised. In the 12th match minute, Nhangapi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marco Proença to maneuver through the defense. João Francisco Loureiro kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Bruno Peixoto struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Gerson de Toledo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Petrolândia Eporte Clube. In the 22nd match minute, Nhangapi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lenílson Mazza to maneuver through the defense. Robinho Tróia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristian Camargo having to interfere. Cauã Souza's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cristian Camargo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Cauã Souza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nhangapi's supporters rose to their feet, but Cauã Souza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristian Camargo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 38 minutes, Bruno Peixoto made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Nhangapi's Gerson de Toledo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Diego Santana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Diego Santana was the one to do the kick off. After 53 minutes of play, Nhangapi's Cauã Souza made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cristian Camargo was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 56th minute, Diego Santana made a precise shot to the right of Gerson de Toledo. Nhangapi's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. 61 minutes into the match, Nhangapi's goal looked a bit too open when Diego Santana came free, but Gerson de Toledo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Robinho Tróia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 66 minutes into the match, Diego Santana notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Nhangapi's Gerson de Toledo. Gerson de Toledo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 69th match minute, Petrolândia Eporte Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fellipe Schmidt to maneuver through the defense. It was beautiful to see Nhangapi's Lenílson Mazza in action when he in the 71st minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! If Diego Santana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Nhangapi's Cauã Souza in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Petrolândia Eporte Clube's goalie prevented a goal. Petrolândia Eporte Clube's Bruno Peixoto got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Petrolândia Eporte Clube booed when Nhangapi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilton do Vale didn't get a good kick on the ball. Diego Santana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bruno Peixoto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Gerson de Toledo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Petrolândia Eporte Clube eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
