After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Armando Macedo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Acudina EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Armando Macedo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luís Fernando Bezerra breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sidney dos Santos's late challenge caught a Acudina EC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sidney dos Santos helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, R G R do BRASIL's Sidney dos Santos got a free kick in the 8th minute. Caio Dantas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jean Paulista, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. If Evandro Cabral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, R G R do BRASIL's Deivid Tróia got a free kick in the 24th minute. If Jean Paulista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. In the 40th minute, Evandro Cabral got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. R G R do BRASIL's Evandro Cabral got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 63rd match minute, Acudina EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rui Favoretto to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Reinaldo de Castro got free with Luís Fernando Bezerra in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
