Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Armando Macedo got the match started through his kick off. In the 2nd minute, Cássio Furtado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Caio Dantas was out of position in the 5 minute of play, and Elder Neto capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Elder Neto really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. 8 minutes into the match, 9 de abril fc's goal looked a bit too open when Reinaldo de Castro came free, but Juninho Guedes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kléberson da Mata fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juninho Guedes having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reinaldo de Castro in the 11th minute of play forced 9 de abril fc's goalkeeper Juninho Guedes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 1-1 became the score in the 11th minute when Reinaldo de Castro elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Robinho Varela charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Robinho Varela the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Robinho Varela kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. In the 26th minute of the match Douglas Carneiro sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Juninho Guedes skillfully saved the ball. After 26 played minutes 9 de abril fc got a freekick which was hit by Robinho Varela. Juninho Guedes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armando Macedo in the 27th minute of the match. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Acudina EC's goalkeeper Caio Dantas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cícero de Almeidas short, quick shot in the 32ndth minute got Caio Dantas to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Cido Leite kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rui Favoretto during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Elder Neto took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Caio Dantas. Caio Dantas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Juninho Guedes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reinaldo de Castro in the 43rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in 9 de abril fc's zone, Armando Macedo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juninho Guedes came out of the goal and Armando Macedo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Elder Neto to make the kick off. After 53 minutes Acudina EC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Zé Roberto Ferraz who took care of the corner kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kléberson da Mata during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Caio Dantas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cícero de Almeida in the 59th minute of play. In the 63rd match minute, 9 de abril fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robinho Varela to maneuver through the defense. 64 minutes into the match, Acudina EC's Douglas Carneiro broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Armando Macedo in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Juninho Guedes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Juninho Guedes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Reinaldo de Castro went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Armando Macedo struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Juninho Guedes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Acudina EC. After a rather tough play, 9 de abril fc's Basílio Messias got a free kick in the 79th minute. When Armando Macedo came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Acudina EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Armando Macedo couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet as Acudina EC's Armando Macedo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Juninho Guedes. That made the score 2-3 after 82 minutes of play. After 91 minutes of play Acudina EC's Rui Favoretto was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to Acudina EC getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Rui Favoretto hit a great ball.
