After having played for 5 minutes, Jardel Corrêa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jiquirica EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jardel Corrêa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Jardel Corrêa came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Jiquirica EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jardel Corrêa couldn't finish the play. After 14 played minutes Jiquirica EC got a freekick which was hit by Elói Toscano. With his leg Kauan Paraense managed to avoid a goal in the 17thth minute, when Cambuquira EC's Toninho Vianna fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Toninho Viannas short, quick shot in the 20thth minute got Kauan Paraense to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Henrique Mota recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rui Marques showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jardel Corrêa, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Henrique Mota managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jiquirica EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Henrique Mota was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rui Marques breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 27thth minute of the game Jardel Corrêa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cambuquira EC's Rui Marques was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rui Marques showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henrique Mota in the 32nd minute of the match. If Jardel Corrêa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kauan Paraense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeferson Paes in the 44th minute of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Toninho Vianna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kauan Paraense having to interfere. Kauan Paraense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeferson Paes in the 56th minute of play. Toninho Vianna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Luís Fábio Meirelles was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 76th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. When Henrique Mota was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 80 minutes had been played. Henrique Mota kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Jeferson Paes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Cambuquira EC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Jiquirica EC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
