After having played for 21 minutes, Carlos Augusto Urbano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Maldito futebol clube's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carlos Augusto Urbano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Bernardo Garcia was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 22 minutes had been played. Ulisses Negri showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Maldito futebol clube's Alfredinho Fernandes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cléber Messias in the 34th minute of play. Marquinhos Cunha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alfredinho Fernandes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cléber Messias went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. The supporters of Icaraima booed when Maldito futebol clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Giovanni Bueno didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cléber Messias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cléber Messias recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ulisses Negri to strike the kick off in the second half. If Cléber Messias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Claudinho Carioca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. Cléber Messias could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Alfredinho Fernandes made a huge save. Cléber Messias's late challenge caught a Maldito futebol clube's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cléber Messias helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Maldito futebol clube booed when Icaraima was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cléber Messias didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 92 minutes, Cléber Messias managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Icaraima's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cléber Messias was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Zé Paulo Brasil blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alfredinho Fernandes having to make a save. When the match was over Icaraima could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Maldito futebol clube throughout the match.
