After a defensive mix-up in Ghetto United's zone, Luís Fábio Tande stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Isaltino Lima came out of the goal and Luís Fábio Tande tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Alcobaco's goalkeeper Jarbas Cardoso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 16thth minute of the game Dieguinho Carneiro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Alcobaco's Jarbas Cardoso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 24 minutes into the match, Alcobaco's goalkeeper Jarbas Cardoso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Egídio Araújo. Luís Fábio Tande struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Isaltino Lima didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alcobaco. Jarbas Cardoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dieguinho Carneiro in the 34th minute of play. In the 41stth minute of the game Dieguinho Carneiro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Alcobaco's Jarbas Cardoso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Luís Fábio Tande managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alcobaco's supporters rose to their feet, but Luís Fábio Tande was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Isaltino Lima breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Alcobaco's Luís Fábio Tande in the 45th minute got a chance for a shot 45th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Jarbas Cardoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Egídio Araújo in the 77th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luís Fábio Tande got free with Isaltino Lima in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 85th minute, Caio Peres got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Dieguinho Carneiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luiz Eduardo Meireles hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Dieguinho Carneiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jarbas Cardoso having to interfere. Alcobaco's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
