In the 22nd minute Antoni Koperski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armandinho Alvarenga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Raúl Faustino fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Winterfell C.S F.C's protests and gave Raúl Faustino a yellow card for diving instead. When Fiori Reis came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Flamengasooo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fiori Reis couldn't finish the play. Juan Rossi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacinto Travassos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Armandinho Alvarenga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enrique Palmeira in the 36th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Winterfell C.S F.C's zone, Ruy Meireles stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juan Rossi came out of the goal and Ruy Meireles tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 40 minutes into the match, Winterfell C.S F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Betão Barral came free, but Juan Rossi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 43 minutes into the match, Winterfell C.S F.C's goalkeeper Juan Rossi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ruy Meireles.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Antoni Koperski to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd match minute, Flamengasooo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Betão Barral to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot 54 in the game by Antoni Koperski from a close distance when the talented Armandinho Alvarenga managed to make a qualified save. Flamengasooo's players were relieved. After a defensive mix-up in Winterfell C.S F.C's zone, Betão Barral stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juan Rossi came out of the goal and Betão Barral tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 65th minute, Betão Barral got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Antoni Koperski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Winterfell C.S F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Antoni Koperski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Armandinho Alvarenga breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Winterfell C.S F.C's Juan Rossi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Betão Barral in the 70th minute of play. Antoni Koperskis short, quick shot in the 74thth minute got Armandinho Alvarenga to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Antoni Koperski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 82 minutes into the match, Flamengasooo's goal looked a bit too open when Antoni Koperski came free, but Armandinho Alvarenga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Flamengasooo's Betão Barral got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Claudinei Nascimento kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. When Wágner de Godoy came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Winterfell C.S F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wágner de Godoy couldn't finish the play. The Flamengasooo supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Winterfell C.S F.C's performance. The match ended with a win for Winterfell C.S F.C.
