The supporters of Abadiania SS booed when Unicórnio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guto Silva didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 5th minute Denver Gibbs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcel Negri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nuno de Souza charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nuno de Souza the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rogério Paiva during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 14th match minute, Abadiania SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rogério Paiva to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 17 minutes, Jano Sabóia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Abadiania SS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jano Sabóia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cayetano Dantel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Marcel Negri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Rafael Tsoy's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcel Negri was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. After 31 minutes, Jano Sabóia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Abadiania SS and the Unicórnio players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 31st match minute, Abadiania SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jano Sabóia to maneuver through the defense. Denver Gibbs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcel Negri having to interfere. In the 39th minute, Denver Gibbs hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jano Sabóia made a kick off. Marcel Negri was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Denver Gibbs showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 51 minute of play. The supporters of Abadiania SS booed when Unicórnio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chiquinho Simão didn't get a good kick on the ball. 61 minutes into the match, Unicórnio's goal looked a bit too open when Alfredinho Passos came free, but Chicão Gonçalves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ismael Lira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Chicão Gonçalves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jano Sabóia scored 2-1 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Chicão Gonçalves, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Abadiania SS booed when Unicórnio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Denver Gibbs didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 75th minute, Ismael Lira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Abadiania SS's Marcel Negri got control of the ball when Rafael Tsoy tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jano Sabóia in the 79th minute of play forced Unicórnio's goalkeeper Chicão Gonçalves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 80 minutes into the game, Unicórnio's Denver Gibbs nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcel Negri made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. 90 minutes into the match, Unicórnio's goal looked a bit too open when Jano Sabóia came free, but Chicão Gonçalves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chicão Gonçalves came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Abadiania SS's Alfredinho Passos. But to his dismay, Alfredinho Passos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. In the 94th minute, Alfredinho Passos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Many of Unicórnio's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Unicórnio may have spent more time on the ball, but Abadiania SS were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
