Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Breno Martins started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 6 minutes into the match, Parente's Luiz Fabiano Simão sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Natã Moraes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 7 played minutes Catolezinho got a freekick which was hit by Nilton Proença. 12 minutes into the match, Parente's goalkeeper Igor Mumbach had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jefferson Severo. Natã Moraes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luiz Fabiano Simão in the 18th minute of play. After 20 played minutes Catolezinho got a freekick which was hit by Chico Prata. Parente's Rui Batista couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 20th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Catolezinho. Parente's Luiz Fabiano Simão got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Andrézinho Velloso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nilton Proença's late challenge caught a Parente's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nilton Proença helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Catolezinho getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Nilton Proença hit a great ball. Igor Mumbach showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Breno Martins in the 34th minute of the match. The referee gave Parente a penalty, 39 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Rui Batista, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Catolezinho's Natã Moraes. 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Catolezinho's zone, Andrézinho Velloso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Natã Moraes came out of the goal and Andrézinho Velloso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Catolezinho players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Parente were winning 0-1.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Andrézinho Velloso to make the kick off. If Andrézinho Velloso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Catolezinho's Natã Moraes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andrézinho Velloso in the 59th minute of play. Igor Mumbach took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jefferson Severo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Luiz Fabiano Simão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Parente getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Andrézinho Velloso hit a great ball. Andrézinho Velloso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Natã Moraes having to interfere. Luiz Fabiano Simão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Jefferson Severo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Catolezinho's supporters rose to their feet, but Jefferson Severo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Igor Mumbach breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Catolezinho's Natã Moraes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Catolezinho from getting a goal against them. Natã Moraes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luiz Fabiano Simão in the 91st minute. Natã Moraes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andrézinho Velloso in the 93rd minute of play. Parente's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
