If Richard Brodel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nilson Rosado's late challenge caught a Jatei AD's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nilson Rosado helped the player get up and apologised. In the 5th minute, Nilson Rosado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 6 minutes into the match, Parente's goal looked a bit too open when Richard Brodel came free, but Igor Mumbach reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luiz Fabiano Simão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Rafael Cardoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Glauco Valladares hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Jatei AD's Silas Bezerra got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Igor Mumbach showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Richard Brodel in the 12th minute of the match. The supporters of Parente booed when Jatei AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. José Paulo Nunes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rui Batista, 14 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Conrado Moura hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Andrézinho Velloso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luiz Paulo Proença charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luiz Paulo Proença the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Parente booed when Jatei AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luiz Paulo Proença didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silas Bezerra in the 22nd minute of play forced Parente's goalkeeper Igor Mumbach to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Richard Brodel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Igor Mumbach read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Amadeu Fonseca during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Silas Bezerra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Igor Mumbach having to interfere. Igor Mumbach took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Richard Brodel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Igor Mumbach showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Richard Brodel, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. In the 32nd minute, Glauco Valladares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Richard Brodel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Igor Mumbach tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 36th minute, Richard Brodel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Richard Brodel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Igor Mumbach having to interfere. Jatei AD's Richard Brodel got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Andrézinho Velloso to make the kick off. After 53 minutes, Glauco Valladares mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Parente and the Jatei AD players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 53 played minutes Parente got a freekick which was hit by Glauco Valladares. With a little luck, Parente's Igor Mumbach got control of the ball when Richard Brodel tried to sneak it across the goal line. 60 minutes into the match, Parente's goalkeeper Igor Mumbach had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Richard Brodel. Rafael Cardoso came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Parente's Luiz Fabiano Simão. But to his dismay, Luiz Fabiano Simão quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Igor Mumbach made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silas Bezerra in the 69th minute of play. If Richard Brodel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Richard Brodel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 75 minutes into the game, Silas Bezerra recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Igor Mumbach. Silas Bezerra showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Richard Brodel in the 79thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Igor Mumbach, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Richard Brodel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Igor Mumbach having to interfere. Luiz Paulo Proença was shown his second yellow card after 85 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Parente booed when Jatei AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luiz Paulo Proença didn't get a good kick on the ball. 95 minutes into the match, Parente's goalkeeper Igor Mumbach had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Richard Brodel. If Richard Brodel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jatei AD played a much better game than Parente and deserved their victory. The Parente players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
