Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Vitinho Toscano kicked off to start the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 14th minute of the game. One of Cibauma SC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Cunhupuca EC:s goal. With an all-out effort, Cunhupuca EC's Fernando Marquez threw himself towards the right post 25 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Vitinho Toscano, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Rafa do Nascimento recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vitinho Toscano did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-1 to the left of a surprised Fernando Marquez 28 minutes into the match. Fernando Marquez made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Rafa do Nascimento sent off a good shot on target. Rafa do Nascimento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 41st minute Nilson Vianna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olívio Machado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 44th minute, Válbson Mangueira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Vitinho Toscano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Durvalino Guedes to strike the kick off in the second half. Cunhupuca EC's Rafa do Nascimento got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Olívio Machado came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Cibauma SC's Nilson Vianna. But to his dismay, Nilson Vianna quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. In the 64th minute Durvalino Guedes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olívio Machado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nilson Vianna recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nilson Vianna got free with Olívio Machado in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Vitinho Toscano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernando Marquez having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Cibauma SC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
