Breno Félix kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. 14 minutes into the match, Nilson Vianna notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Tuna's Fred Sá. Fred Sá was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Breno Félix helped the player get up and apologised. In the 30th minute, Breno Félix hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 35th minute Durvalino Guedes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fred Sá saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fernando Marquez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonas Aguiar in the 39th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Caetano Guedes in the 41st minute of play forced Cibauma SC's goalkeeper Fernando Marquez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Durvalino Guedes to make the kick off. The supporters of Tuna booed when Cibauma SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Víktor Baiano didn't get a good kick on the ball. 53 minutes into the match, Manolo Nunes sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Fernando Marquez threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Manolo Nunes this time. The supporters of Cibauma SC booed when Tuna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Breno Félix didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tuna's Fred Sá played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nilson Vianna in the 94th minute of play. In the 95th match minute, Cibauma SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jefferson Macedo to maneuver through the defense. Cibauma SC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
