Bernardo Abraão was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 11 minutes into the match, Patamute's goal looked a bit too open when Ruy Mandrak came free, but Bernardo Abraão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Uruau's Cláudio Pernambucano got control of the ball when Tales Moura tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ruy Mandrak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Filipe das Neves charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Filipe das Neves the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Uruau's Filipe das Neves got a free kick in the 24th minute. Cláudio Pernambucano acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 25th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Donatello de Sena. The supporters of Uruau booed when Patamute was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erasmo de Senna didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruy Mandrak in the 30th minute of play forced Patamute's goalkeeper Bernardo Abraão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Patamute's Erasmo de Senna got a free kick in the 33rd minute. If Ruy Mandrak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ademar Marques sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ruy Mandrak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardo Abraão having to interfere. With a little luck, Uruau's Cláudio Pernambucano got control of the ball when Tales Moura tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nelson Luz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Cláudio Pernambucano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Ademar Marques had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nelson Luz made a kick off. Ruy Mandrak recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ademar Marques's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bernardo Abraão read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. After 56 played minutes Patamute got a freekick which was hit by Reinaldo Cardozo. Bernardo Abraão made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Ademar Marques sent off a good shot on target. Ademar Marques recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Duarte Quadros hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Uruau's Cláudio Pernambucano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tales Moura in the 69th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tales Moura in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cláudio Pernambucano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Filipe das Neves hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ruy Mandrak during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Uruau's Cláudio Pernambucano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tales Moura in the 82nd minute of play. Ademar Marques sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 86th minute Ruy Mandrak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardo Abraão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 87th minute, Duarte Quadros had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Reinaldo Cardozo during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
