In the 10th match minute, Tobi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Axel Bäcklin to maneuver through the defense. Gustavo Quintun made an important save on a dangerous shot by Válter Messias in the 14th minute. With 17 minutes on the clock, Richard Esteves commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 16th minute of the game. One of Flamengo SC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Tobi:s goal. 34 minutes into the match, Franklin Almeida had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gustavo Quintun. Tobi's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Franklin Almeida was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Marcelo França kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice moves Mané Lima could shoot a difficult shot in the 40th minute, which Gustavo Quintun however easily saved by the left post. Gustavo Quintun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Válter Messias in the 47th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Carlos Alberto Terra stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Francisco Loyola made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Alberto Terra in the 55th minute of play. 59 minutes into the match, Tobi's goal looked a bit too open when 魏博棋 came free, but Gustavo Quintun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Axel Bäcklin kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Francisco Loyola made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Jardel Campidelis sent off a good shot on target. José Vítor Mazza kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Tobi's Marcelo França got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Axel Bäcklin kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. A collision led to Tobi getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Wilson Guerra hit a great ball. Gustavo Quintun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mané Lima in the 90th minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Flamengo SC had played much better football throughout.
