The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Adhemar Tande the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Usac protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Adhemar Tande had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 11 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Usac! Artur Mattos walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. If Arlindo Damião had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arlindo Damião blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eliseu Paraibano having to make a save. Usac's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Fábio de Mendonça 22 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. Fábio de Mendonça recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 28th match minute, Usac was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Didi Cruz to maneuver through the defense. Usac's Eliseu Paraibano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fábio de Mendonça in the 31st minute of play. Fábio de Mendonça sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Usac's Paulo José Teles in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Camba Rufa city's goalie prevented a goal. Eliseu Paraibano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fábio de Mendonça in the 38th minute of the match. In the 46th minute, Fábio de Mendonça got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Paulo José Teles made the kick off in the second half. Arlindo Damião sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 55th minute, Arlindo Damião made a precise shot to the right of Eliseu Paraibano. Usac's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Fábio de Mendonça fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eliseu Paraibano having to interfere. 63 minutes into the game, Camba Rufa city's Arlindo Damião nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eliseu Paraibano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. If Fábio de Mendonça had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 68th minute, Roberto Teles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arlindo Damião fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eliseu Paraibano having to interfere. In the 75thth minute of the game Fábio de Mendonça who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Usac's Eliseu Paraibano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Eliseu Paraibano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Camba Rufa city's Chico de Azevedo got a free kick in the 87th minute. Eliseu Paraibano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fábio de Mendonça, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Fábio de Mendonça managed to get in a good position for a shot. Camba Rufa city's supporters rose to their feet, but Fábio de Mendonça was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eliseu Paraibano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Arlindo Damião received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute.
