Asa De Arapiraca's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Enxu SC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Asa De Arapiraca's Eurico Perez got a free kick in the 14th minute. If Gualter Quaresma had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elivélton Gomes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Asa De Arapiraca's Fernandão Linares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elivélton Gomes in the 24th minute of play. Fernandão Linares came out of the goal and Gualter Quaresma tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Asa De Arapiraca's Luiz Paraibano got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Guto Trancoso charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Guto Trancoso the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 46 played minutes Enxu SC got a freekick which was hit by Guto Trancoso. In the 47th minute of the match, Luiz Paraibano got a very nice opportunity to score, but Cristiano Nogueira was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Elivélton Gomes made the kick off in the second half. Fernandão Linares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elivélton Gomes in the 52nd minute of play. Antônio Munhoz took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 53rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Cristiano Nogueira. Enxu SC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ciro Rodrigues received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Asa De Arapiraca's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
