In the 16th match minute, Enxu SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guto Trancoso to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Usac's Didi Cruz slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Cristiano Nogueira. That made the score 1-0 after 19 minutes of play. Cristiano Nogueira made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Paulo José Teles sent off a good shot on target. Usac's Eliseu Paraibano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gualter Quaresma in the 24th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 45 minutes, Cristiano Nogueira successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Didi Cruz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cristiano Nogueira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Didi Cruz to strike the kick off in the second half. Cristiano Nogueira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo José Teles in the 54th minute of play. In the 55thth minute of the game Didi Cruz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Enxu SC's Cristiano Nogueira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Paulo José Teles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 58 minutes into the game, Gerson Coelho was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Enxu SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Usac the free kick. In the 74th minute, Paulo José Teles got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Enxu SC getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Gerson Coelho hit a great ball. Cristiano Nogueira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Didi Cruz in the 76th minute of the match. Paulo José Teles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristiano Nogueira having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Didi Cruz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cristiano Nogueira was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. Gerson Coelho was shown his second yellow card after 82 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Didi Cruz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Cristiano Nogueira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Adhemar Tande fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Usac's protests and gave Adhemar Tande a yellow card for diving instead. Adhemar Tande hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Adolfo Veiga struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Eliseu Paraibano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Enxu SC. Usac's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
