Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Humberto Paes came out of the goal and Régis Negri tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dalmo Simão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vítor Trigo in the 9th minute of play. The Mucuna SC fans' excitement grew in the 11th match minute when Mucuna SC's Carlos Augusto Arruda looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Régis Negri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Humberto Paes having to interfere. After having played for 16 minutes, Ricardinho Lopez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SESTPREV FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ricardinho Lopez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carlos Augusto Arruda in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dalmo Simão saved SESTPREV FC from getting behind. Dalmo Simão came out of the goal and Carlos Augusto Arruda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ricardinho Lopez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Humberto Paes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dalmo Simão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vítor Trigo in the 40th minute of play. After 41 played minutes SESTPREV FC got a freekick which was hit by Rogério do Nascimento. Vítor Trigo struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Dalmo Simão didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mucuna SC. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Ricardinho Lopez managed to get in a good position for a shot. SESTPREV FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ricardinho Lopez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Humberto Paes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

Mucuna SC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dorian Félix during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of SESTPREV FC booed when Mucuna SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dorian Félix didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Mucuna SC's Carlos Augusto Arruda in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 92nd minute Ricardinho Lopez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Humberto Paes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
