Caco Pontes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Enio Batista yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Delfim Almeida kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. In the 49th minute of the match Erik Tróia sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Enio Batista skillfully saved the ball.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Caco Pontes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ronaldão Linares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Enio Batista tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aposento's supporters crossed their fingers, but Evandro Berger was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Caco Pontes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Caiary's supporters rose to their feet, but Caco Pontes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Clemente Maciel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Caiary's Enio Batista played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronaldão Linares in the 83rd minute of play. 95 minutes into the game, Evandro Berger cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Enio Batista was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Aposento had won after a very even match.
