Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) William Viana made the kick off and thus started the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zé Augusto de Queirós got free with Enio Batista in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 6th match minute, Coady SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olavo Nogueira to maneuver through the defense. Delfim Almeida's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jarbas Coelho read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. The supporters of Coady SC booed when Caiary was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulo Renato de Mendonça didn't get a good kick on the ball. William Viana took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Enio Batista. Enio Batista dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. If William Viana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Enio Batista managed to avoid a goal in the 19thth minute, when Coady SC's Zé Augusto de Queirós fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 21st minute, João Pedro Medeiros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vitório Marques's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jarbas Coelho read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. Caco Pontes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jarbas Coelho having to interfere. Jarbas Coelho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Caco Pontes in the 34th minute of the match. Enio Batista made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from William Viana in the 36th minute of play. The supporters of Coady SC booed when Caiary was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Delfim Almeida didn't get a good kick on the ball. William Viana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enio Batista having to interfere. After 48 minutes of play, Caiary's Caco Pontes made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jarbas Coelho was left in no man's land by his defense there! The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Zé Augusto de Queirós sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If William Viana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Coady SC's William Viana in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Caiary's goalie prevented a goal. Olavo Nogueira kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Caiary's João Pedro Medeiros got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Zé Augusto de Queirós struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Enio Batista didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Coady SC. In the 81st minute, Danilo Brasil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 82nd minute, Valdir Bastos sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Caiary's Enio Batista didn't even have to move. Caiary's Enio Batista played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zé Augusto de Queirós in the 84th minute of play. After having played for 90 minutes, Zé Augusto de Queirós managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Coady SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zé Augusto de Queirós was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 92 minutes into the match, Caiary's goal looked a bit too open when Zé Augusto de Queirós came free, but Enio Batista reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Enio Batista took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hudson Andrade, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. João Pedro Medeiros hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Caiary's zone, Zé Augusto de Queirós stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Enio Batista came out of the goal and Zé Augusto de Queirós tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gernando Tepedino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 100th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Coady SC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
