With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rafael Palmeira in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hortêncio dos Santos saved Mura from getting behind. In the 4th minute, João Francisco Aguiar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 7th minute Sixto Quentin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flávio Corrêa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hortêncio dos Santos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafael Palmeira, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. After 12 played minutes Mura got a freekick which was hit by João Francisco Aguiar. A hard shot 17 in the game by Rafael Palmeira from a close distance when the talented Hortêncio dos Santos managed to make a qualified save. Mura's players were relieved. The supporters of Meiwa Futebol Clube 明和 booed when Mura was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. João Francisco Aguiar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mura's Hortêncio dos Santos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafael Palmeira in the 20th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Mura's zone, Dênis de Godoi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hortêncio dos Santos came out of the goal and Dênis de Godoi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mura's Hortêncio dos Santos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafael Palmeira in the 23rd minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Rafael Palmeira got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Hortêncio dos Santos quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Luís Fernando Medeiros kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Hortêncio dos Santos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Manfredo Meireles went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Manfredo Meireles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hortêncio dos Santos having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sixto Quentin during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Sixto Quentin kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Rafael Palmeira's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 43rdth minute, Hortêncio dos Santos skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Sixto Quentin was shown his second yellow card after 46 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Meiwa Futebol Clube 明和 booed when Mura was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sixto Quentin didn't get a good kick on the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Melker Hansson made a kick off. Meiwa Futebol Clube 明和's Manfredo Meireles got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. João Francisco Aguiar hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Meiwa Futebol Clube 明和's Flávio Corrêa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexsandro Guerra in the 57th minute of play. After some careless play in the Mura defense, Rafael Palmeira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hortêncio dos Santos. The Mura fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hortêncio dos Santos should have stopped the shot. When Meiwa Futebol Clube 明和's Rafael Palmeira in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Hortêncio dos Santos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 94th minute, Rafael Palmeira left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Meiwa Futebol Clube 明和 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Mura's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
