Eduardo Brito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Flávio Corrêa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Rafael Palmeira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gilberto Lira was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. Davi Marquez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. In the 37thth minute of the game Rafael Palmeira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Iguatemi SS's Gilberto Lira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Meiwa Futebol Clube 明和's Rafael Palmeira in the 41st minute got a chance for a shot 41st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Rafael Palmeira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gilberto Lira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafael Palmeira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With his leg Gilberto Lira managed to avoid a goal in the 78thth minute, when Meiwa Futebol Clube 明和's Rafael Palmeira fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 79th minute, Dênis de Godoi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Rafael Palmeira in the 86th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Gilberto Lira kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 0-3 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. Gilberto Lira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rafael Palmeira in the 90th minute. Davi Marquez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. After some careless play in the Iguatemi SS defense, Davi Marquez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gilberto Lira. The Iguatemi SS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gilberto Lira should have stopped the shot. When the final whistle sounded Meiwa Futebol Clube 明和 left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Iguatemi SS.
