Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Betão Lima kicked off to start the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Valdomiro Vieira in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edson Melo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sacao's Edson Melo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erasmo Prestes in the 8th minute of play. If Valdomiro Vieira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Valdomiro Vieira scored 0-1 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Edson Melo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Sacao's Betão Lima got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mauro Castro charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mauro Castro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Sacao getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Mauro Castro hit a great ball. When Cannarias's Valdomiro Vieira in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sacao's goalie prevented a goal. Betão Lima sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Baltazar Moreno kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Sacao's Dadá Cabral got a free kick in the 26th minute. After 27 minutes of play, Cannarias's Túlio Souto made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edson Melo was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 30 played minutes, Cannarias's Olavo Oliveira shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Edson Melo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cannarias reached it. Juan Faria showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Betão Lima, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Erasmo Prestes took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edson Melo. Edson Melo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. With a little luck, Cannarias's Juan Faria got control of the ball when João Francisco Monteiro tried to sneak it across the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Erasmo Prestes made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Sacao's Dadá Cabral got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Cannarias's Juan Faria played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Francisco Monteiro in the 57th minute of play. If João Francisco Monteiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Betão Lima had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 64th minute Betão Lima shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Faria saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Valdomiro Vieira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edson Melo having to interfere. Erasmo Prestes might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edson Melo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Erasmo Prestes ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 69th minute, Erasmo Prestes reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Edson Melo. The goal made the score 0-4. After 73 played minutes Cannarias got a freekick which was hit by Hermínio Breckenfeld. In the 76th minute of the match Olavo Oliveira shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Edson Melo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 79 played minutes Sacao got a freekick which was hit by Mauro Castro. Túlio Souto, 80 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Tales Bezerra's late challenge caught a Sacao's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tales Bezerra helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Cannarias getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Tales Bezerra hit a great ball. Betão Lima received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Juan Faria tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edson Melo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erasmo Prestes in the 92nd minute of the match. In the 94th match minute, Cannarias was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernão Arantes to maneuver through the defense. Cannarias's Juan Faria played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Francisco Monteiro in the 95th minute of play. When the final whistle sounded Cannarias left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Sacao.
