After having played for 23 minutes, Breno Mesquita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Labirinto's supporters crossed their fingers, but Breno Mesquita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Elói Cunha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 32 minutes into the game, Zé Paulo Viana lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Adrianinho Cavalcante. Breno Mesquita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Telmo Bastos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Gonçalo Aguiar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Elói Cunha stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Papacaio FC's Elói Cunha in 52 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Gonçalo Aguiar guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Papacaio FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 87 minutes, Álvaro Galvão mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Papacaio FC and the Labirinto players grew even worse after the yellow card.
