After a defensive mix-up in Clone F C's zone, Murilo Esteves stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Armando Abreu came out of the goal and Murilo Esteves tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Murilo Esteves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Olívio Veloso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Luizinho Neto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pedro Augusto Paraibano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Luizinho Neto having to make a save. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Murilo Esteves to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Clone F C's Rodrigo Pereira got a free kick in the 56th minute. Ademir Schmidt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Armando Abreu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 61 minutes into the game, one of Itapitocahy:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Itapitocahy's Luizinho Neto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Itapitocahy from getting a goal against them. 73 minutes into the game, Geraldo Dantas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Clone F C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Itapitocahy the free kick. Geraldo Dantas hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. In the 74th minute, Fernão Santos sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Clone F C's Armando Abreu didn't even have to move. Armando Abreu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ademir Schmidt in the 77th minute of the match. 78 minutes into the match, Itapitocahy's Agnaldo Galvão sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Armando Abreu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ademir Schmidt in the 79th minute of play forced Clone F C's goalkeeper Armando Abreu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 80 played minutes Clone F C got a freekick which was hit by Amauri Queiroz. After having played for 82 minutes, Ademir Schmidt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Itapitocahy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ademir Schmidt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Ademir Schmidt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 93 played minutes Clone F C got a freekick which was hit by Amauri Queiroz. Luizinho Neto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Augusto Paraibano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ademir Schmidt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Armando Abreu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Itapitocahy supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Clone F C's performance. The match ended with a win for Clone F C.
