Joazeirinho SS's Kaká Mattos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teodoro da Rocha in the 15th minute of play. Cláudio Rosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Valle, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Josué Mendes lost his temper 19 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Josué Mendes kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. In the 21st minute, Amílton Almeida got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eusébio Freitas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Kaká Mattos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Itanhaém Futebol Clube's Teodoro da Rocha got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 30 minutes, Teodoro da Rocha made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Joazeirinho SS's Kaká Mattos tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The Joazeirinho SS players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Itanhaém Futebol Clube were winning 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Teodoro da Rocha made a kick off. Miguel Tinoco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Cláudio Rosa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cláudio Rosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juarês do Vale in the 56th minute of the match. Kaká Mattos was a little too slow when Eusébio Freitas got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 58th minute. The score was now 0-3. After having played for 66 minutes, Eusébio Freitas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Itanhaém Futebol Clube's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eusébio Freitas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Daniel Valle charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Daniel Valle the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 70th minute, Daniel Valle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kaká Mattos didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 77th minute, which inside left pole to 0-4. Teodoro da Rocha who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 89thth minute tested the skills of Kaká Mattos when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Kaká Mattos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eusébio Freitas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 95th minute, Juarês do Vale hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
