Ipamery's Percival Cerezo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Ipamery from getting a goal against them. After 23 played minutes Ipamery got a freekick which was hit by Tiago Mazza. In the 24th match minute, Ipamery was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elias Loyola to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Pontao SC's Thomás Barral tried to score from far away in the 25th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After 26 played minutes Ipamery got a freekick which was hit by Tiago Mazza. Elói Souza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Percival Cerezo having to interfere. After 35 played minutes Maurício Freire rounded Ipamery's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-0. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Maurício Freire stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Pontao SC's Lúcio Saldanha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nilson Fontes in the 53rd minute of play. Percival Cerezo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maurício Freire, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 64 minutes into the match, Nilson Fontes dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Lúcio Saldanha, 3-2. Luciano da Fonseca in the 67thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Lúcio Saldanha, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 69 minutes, Nelsinho do Valle mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ipamery and the Pontao SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Ipamery's Nelsinho do Valle got a free kick in the 69th minute. Elói Souza struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Percival Cerezo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pontao SC. Percival Cerezo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Elói Souza's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. In the 82nd minute of the match, Nilson Fontes tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Lúcio Saldanha saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Elói Souza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Lúcio Saldanha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nilson Fontes in the 88th minute of play. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pontao SC's goalkeeper Lúcio Saldanha, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gonçalo Hames kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. The Ipamery players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Pontao SC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
