In the 23rd match minute, Fonceca AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chicão Campidelis to maneuver through the defense. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Breno Torres to make the kick off. Carlinhos Arce could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Amílton Leme made a huge save. 60 minutes into the match, Fonceca AD's goal looked a bit too open when Breno Torres came free, but Amílton Leme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 62 minutes into the match, Fonceca AD's goalkeeper Amílton Leme had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carlinhos Arce. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carlinhos Arce got free with Amílton Leme in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. André Ramos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Guilherme Lopez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 81 minutes, Guilherme Lopez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fonceca AD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guilherme Lopez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Carlinhos Arce had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 95th minute Breno Torres shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amílton Leme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
