Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jorginho Miranda started the match with the kick off. Jarbas Nunes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Ismael Ramos made a huge save. Jarbas Nunes succeeded in the game's 9th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Carin AD's goalkeeper Ismael Ramos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Carin AD's zone, Luís Fabiano Magalhães stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ismael Ramos came out of the goal and Luís Fabiano Magalhães tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Luís Fabiano Magalhães had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorginho Miranda in the 34th minute of play forced Ascurra SC's goalkeeper Anselmo Jacinto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 37 minutes into the match, Carin AD's Natã Negri sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Anselmo Jacinto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Marco Zonta kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. In the 42nd minute, Francisco Nunes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Anselmo Jacinto was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Ascurra SC's Anselmo Jacinto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorginho Miranda in the 48th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Luís Fabiano Magalhães to make the kick off. 55 minutes into the game, Ascurra SC's Jarbas Nunes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ismael Ramos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. 59 minutes into the match, Ascurra SC's Luís Fabiano Magalhães sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ismael Ramos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 62 minutes into the game, Natã Negri was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Carin AD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ascurra SC the free kick. Natã Negri hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Ascurra SC's Anselmo Jacinto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Ascurra SC from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Natã Negri got free with Anselmo Jacinto in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jorginho Miranda might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Anselmo Jacinto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jorginho Miranda ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorginho Miranda in the 77th minute of play forced Ascurra SC's goalkeeper Anselmo Jacinto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luís Fabiano Magalhães blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ismael Ramos having to make a save. Ascurra SC's Jarbas Nunes got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 79 minutes into the match, Carin AD's goal looked a bit too open when Jarbas Nunes came free, but Ismael Ramos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anselmo Jacinto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorginho Miranda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Jarbas Nunes came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Ascurra SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jarbas Nunes couldn't finish the play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Ascurra SC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 89th minute. Penalty! Luís Fabiano Magalhães might have been able to make a better finish in the 97th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ismael Ramos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luís Fabiano Magalhães ran back to his position shaking his head. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
