Hortêncio Severo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samuel Cardoso having to interfere. Duda Borges might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Custódio Tavares. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Duda Borges ran back to his position shaking his head. After 19th play minutes Hortêncio Severo shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Samuel Cardoso and just under the crossbar into goal. Amargosa's Samuel Cardoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Vítor Zonta in the 24th minute of play. In the 24th minute, Duda Borges hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Amargosa getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Benjamin Simões hit a great ball. Dianopolis FC's Beto de Toledo couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 28th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Amargosa. Hortêncio Severo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Samuel Cardoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dagoberto Pires fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Custódio Tavares having to interfere. If Duda Borges had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Samuel Cardoso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ricardinho Tavares's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. In the 48th minute, Ricardinho Tavares got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. José Vítor Zonta might have been able to make a better finish in the 49th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Samuel Cardoso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. José Vítor Zonta ran back to his position shaking his head. The Amargosa players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Dianopolis FC were winning 0-2.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Duda Borges was the one to do the kick off. Dagoberto Pires received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Custódio Tavares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 71 minutes into the match, Dianopolis FC's Ricardinho Tavares sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Samuel Cardoso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Hortêncio Severo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 81stth minute, Samuel Cardoso skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 85 minutes in the game, Ricardinho Tavares fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Samuel Cardoso having to interfere. If Hortêncio Severo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ricardinho Tavares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Hortêncio Severo struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Samuel Cardoso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dianopolis FC. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Dianopolis FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
