Ricardinho Vander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benedito Seco in the 3rd minute of the match. With a little luck, Itaipe's Jairo Botelho got control of the ball when Frank Berger tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 12th minute, Chico Mesquita reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jairo Botelho. The goal made the score 1-0. In the 16th minute, Diamantino Domingues made a precise shot to the right of Ricardinho Vander. Aterrado AD's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. In the 21st match minute, Aterrado AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristiano Abraão to maneuver through the defense. In the 23rd minute, Cristiano Abraão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jairo Botelho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chico Mesquita in the 28th minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, Frank Berger had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jairo Botelho. Itaipe's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Frank Berger was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. In the 32nd minute, Kiko Mota hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 37th minute of the game. One of Aterrado AD:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Itaipe:s goal. Ernesto Salgado placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Ricardinho Vander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Luís Félix in the 41st minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Chico Mesquita in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jairo Botelho prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

3-1 became the score in the 51st minute when Chico Mesquita elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Pedro Luís Félix took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ricardinho Vander. Ricardinho Vander dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. After 58th play minutes Pedro Luís Félix shot 3-3, a short shot which went by Ricardinho Vander and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 65th minute, Pedro Luís Félix hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 66 minutes into the game, Chico Mesquita cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-3. Jairo Botelho was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Itaipe getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Diamantino Domingues hit a great ball. Chico Mesquita scored 5-3 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jairo Botelho, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 76 played minutes Aterrado AD got a freekick which was hit by Luís Paulo Tavares. Pedro Luís Félixs short, quick shot in the 78thth minute got Ricardinho Vander to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Itaipe's Jairo Botelho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Berger in the 81st minute of play. 83 minutes into the game, Pedro Luís Félix cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-4. Ricardinho Vander was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 89th minute Chico Mesquita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jairo Botelho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Aterrado AD's goalkeeper Ricardinho Vander, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
