Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Ivo Lara blasted a shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jânio Neves having to make a save. In the 8th minute Adriano Velasco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Caio Bastos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Caio Bastos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Germano Sá in the 11th minute of the match. Germano Sá charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Germano Sá the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 18th match minute, Curimata SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Germano Sá to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Curimata SS booed when Freire CFF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Agenor Meireles didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adriano Velasco kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. A collision led to Curimata SS getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Luiz Paulo Eger hit a great ball. After 32 played minutes Curimata SS got a freekick which was hit by Percival Marquez. Ivo Lara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 40th minute, Jerônimo Simão got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 47th minute Adriano Velasco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Caio Bastos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ivo Lara made a kick off. When Germano Sá came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Curimata SS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Germano Sá couldn't finish the play. Percival Marquez hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Caio Bastos went to the wrong direction when Jano Bastos was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. After having played for 66 minutes, Percival Marquez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Curimata SS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Percival Marquez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 68th minute Percival Marquez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Caio Bastos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Caio Bastos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Percival Marquez in the 71st minute of the match. When Jerônimo Simão came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Freire CFF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jerônimo Simão couldn't finish the play. Adriano Velasco might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Caio Bastos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Adriano Velasco ran back to his position shaking his head. Caio Bastos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Percival Marquez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 86 minutes of play, Curimata SS's Percival Marquez made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Caio Bastos was left in no man's land by his defense there! Chants of Curimata SS echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Freire CFF had held the ball for most of the match.
