Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) In the 7th minute, Pedro Luiz Silva got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 8th minute, Fernandão Mazza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Severino Rocha in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Basílio Cerezo saved Ituverava from getting behind. 12 minutes into the match, Pedro Luiz Silva dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Basílio Cerezo, 1-0. Rony Varela didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fred Soares went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Fernandão Mazza hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Cesinha Carioca fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 22nd minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball bounced in the crossbar and then went out. It was a very nice shot. Ituverava's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Severino Rocha 24 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-1. In the 27th minute Kaká Messias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rony Varela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ourupu were furious when Bernardinho Mandrak was red carded, 28 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in Ourupu fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 28th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Ituverava a penalty, 30 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Germano Furtado, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Ourupu's Rony Varela. 2-2. Paulo José Hermes took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rony Varela. Rony Varela dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. In the 39th minute, Paulo José Hermes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rony Varela was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-4. Rony Varela made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celsinho de Salles in the 43rd minute of play. Rony Varela showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fred Soares, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Rony Varela took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kaká Messias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Disappointed in the 2-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kaká Messias to strike the kick off in the second half. Paulo José Hermes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Rony Varela made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Ituverava's Albertinho Ribeiro got a free kick in the 52nd minute. With a little luck, Ourupu's Rony Varela got control of the ball when Paulo José Hermes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rony Varela made an important save on a dangerous shot by Paulo José Hermes in the 57th minute. In the 58th minute Kaká Messias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rony Varela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Paulo José Hermes could shoot a difficult shot in the 59th minute, which Rony Varela however easily saved by the left post. Kaká Messias received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Rony Varela came out and tried to block the shot, but Kaká Messias slotted it home off the left post making it 2-5 in the 62nd minute. Kaká Messias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rony Varela made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Paulo José Hermes sent off a good shot on target. If Pedrão Hoffmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 76 minutes into the match, Paulo José Hermes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rony Varela. Ourupu's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Paulo José Hermes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-6. In the 80th minute, Paulo José Hermes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rony Varela was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-7. 87 minutes into the match, Ourupu's goalkeeper Rony Varela had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Paulo José Hermes. If Pedrão Hoffmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ituverava's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
