Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) 6 minutes into the match, Luizão Carioca dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Rony Varela, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luizão Carioca in the 9th minute of play forced Ourupu's goalkeeper Rony Varela to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Severino Rocha's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pedro Augusto Simão was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Severino Rocha in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pedro Augusto Simão prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rony Varela was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Wanderson Donato. The supporters of Marizopolis booed when Ourupu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Luiz Silva didn't get a good kick on the ball. 23 minutes into the game, Ourupu's Cesinha Carioca nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pedro Augusto Simão made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 26th minute, Pedrão Hoffmann got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rony Varela made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Serafim Batista sent off a good shot on target. Pedro Augusto Simão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cesinha Carioca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pedro Augusto Simão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cesinha Carioca, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Pedro Luiz Silva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pedro Augusto Simão stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Severino Rocha's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. In the 41stth minute of the game Severino Rocha who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Marizopolis's Pedro Augusto Simão was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ourupu's Pedro Luiz Silva got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ourupu's Cesinha Carioca got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Luizão Carioca made a kick off. Serafim Batista's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rony Varela read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. When Ourupu's Severino Rocha in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. When Severino Rocha came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Ourupu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Severino Rocha couldn't finish the play. Pedrão Hoffmann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Augusto Simão having to interfere. Rony Varela showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Serafim Batista, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. In the 81st minute Luizão Carioca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rony Varela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 83 played minutes Ourupu got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Luiz Silva. An unexpectedly hard shot by Serafim Batista in the 85th minute of play forced Ourupu's goalkeeper Rony Varela to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 86th minute, Luizão Carioca ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rony Varela was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. When Pedro Luiz Silva fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ourupu's protests and gave Pedro Luiz Silva a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Ourupu's Pedro Luiz Silva got a free kick in the 89th minute. In the 91st minute, Pedro Luiz Silva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Severino Rocha in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pedro Augusto Simão saved Marizopolis from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Marizopolis's Marcinho Soares got a free kick in the 94th minute. Severino Rocha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 98th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marizopolis's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
