Garuva FC's Jânio Prata proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Garuva FC from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Garuva FC booed when Jua was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erik Mazza didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jânio Prata made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sandro Leão in the 33rd minute of play. After having played for 35 minutes, Lucas Pirani managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Garuva FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lucas Pirani was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tibúrcio Corrêa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frederico Recife, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Tibúrcio Corrêa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucas Pirani in the 38th minute of the match. Lucas Pirani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
52 minutes in the game, Sandro Leão dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. In the 55th minute Sandro Leão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jânio Prata saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jânio Prata showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sandro Leão in the 56th minute of the match. In the 57th minute, Bruninho de Alcântara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Jua's Régis da Costa got a free kick in the 71st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Jua's zone, Lucas Pirani stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tibúrcio Corrêa came out of the goal and Lucas Pirani tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Simão Matorin kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Garuva FC's Jânio Prata played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cauan Zilles in the 79th minute of play. During the 79th minute of the match Régis da Costa completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Régis da Costa a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 80 played minutes Jua got a freekick which was hit by Régis da Costa. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Lucas Pirani managed to get in a good position for a shot. Garuva FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Lucas Pirani was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tibúrcio Corrêa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tibúrcio Corrêa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucas Pirani in the 89th minute of play. Bruninho Brasil charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bruninho Brasil the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Garuva FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
