In the 6th minute, Gino Cosme got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Belchior Guedes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Altamira's supporters rose to their feet, but Belchior Guedes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Romário Leme breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gino Cosme received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Romário Leme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edgard de Souza took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 15th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Elias Gaspar. Altamira's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Elias Gaspar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Washington Godoi, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Washington Godoi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 24 minutes into the game, Gino Cosme recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Romário Leme. Gino Cosme showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. If Washington Godoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Belchior Guedes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Romário Leme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, PaPi FaDa's Romário Leme got control of the ball when Belchior Guedes tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 38th minute, Altamira's Belchior Guedes dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. In the 48th minute, Altamira's Belchior Guedes ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Romário Leme. Romário Leme yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

A collision led to Altamira getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. José Carneiro hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Valdir Gomes kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Elias Gaspar. That made the score 3-1 in the 74 minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Altamira's zone, Elias Valladares stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elias Gaspar came out of the goal and Elias Valladares tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 82nd minute, Altamira's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Washington Godoi fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 82nd minute, Valdir Gomes reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Elias Gaspar. The goal made the score 3-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Valdir Gomes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Altamira's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
