Hamílton de Andrade charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hamílton de Andrade the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Marucupari FC's Hamílton de Andrade got a free kick in the 6th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Róbson Medeiros in the 11th minute of play forced Marucupari FC's goalkeeper Ronaldinho da Costa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 16th minute, Evandro Pernambucano made a precise shot to the right of Ronaldinho da Costa. Marucupari FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 19th minute, Dudu Vasconcelos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ronaldinho da Costa was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 22 minutes into the match, Jurece's goalkeeper Renato Porto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ernani Fernandes. Luís Eduardo Carioca scored 0-3 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ronaldinho da Costa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Marcelo Simão in the 27th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Renato Porto kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 1-3 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. Ernani Fernandes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Renato Porto having to interfere. Ronaldinho da Costa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evandro Pernambucano in the 33rd minute of the match. 34 minutes into the match, Marucupari FC's goal looked a bit too open when Evandro Pernambucano came free, but Ronaldinho da Costa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Marucupari FC's Hamílton de Andrade got a free kick in the 35th minute. Ronaldinho da Costa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evandro Pernambucano in the 39th minute of play. In the 41st minute Marcelo Simão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Renato Porto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Dedé Loureiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Renato Porto having to interfere. Renato Porto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marcelo Simão's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. Róbson Medeiros kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. After 92 played minutes Jurece got a freekick which was hit by Evandro Pernambucano. The Marucupari FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Jurece's performance. The match ended with a win for Jurece.
