After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Richard Baptista managed to get in a good position for a shot. Joaneta SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Richard Baptista was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. André Cabral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maurício Prado in the 23rd minute of the match. Walmyr Bertassi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Alberto Amorim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Through an outstanding action, after 26 minutes, André Cabral successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Richard Baptista recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 35 minutes into the match, Richard Baptista had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of André Cabral. Sport Club Internacional's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Richard Baptista was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. André Cabral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maurício Prado in the 41st minute of the match. Walmyr Bertassi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Alberto Amorim in the 44th minute of play. Sport Club Internacional's André Cabral proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Sport Club Internacional from getting a goal against them. After 46 minutes, Gonçalo Branco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sport Club Internacional and the Joaneta SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Artur de Amorim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Walmyr Bertassi having to interfere. If Artur de Amorim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Sport Club Internacional players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Joaneta SC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
